We will start practicing in class math, reading, and writing.\u00a0 It will be super helpful to your child if they also practice at home.<\/li>\n<li><em>M-Step practice for reading and math might replace paper homework. Students had practiced how to log into their accounts on the DPS website to practice the M-Step.\u00a0 Please have your child practice few questions each day.:)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Spelling<\/strong>: Random spelling-Review lessons 15-20 (Both only)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling Test<\/strong>: Friday<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reading<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>~20-30 minutes -or\u00a0<strong>MORE<\/strong>\u00a0for March is Reading Month- of daily reading is highly recommended. Record minutes on February logs please. Bring your logs on Fridays to count the minutes.\u00a0 Also, Mobymax and Myon reading can be used towards the 30 minutes reading .<\/p>\n<p>~<strong>Reading:<\/strong>\u00a0RI 3.9 Compare and contrast two texts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Language Arts Quiz<\/strong>: Monday #24 (students take the weekly language review on Friday to study). \u00a0The Weekly LA review is their study guide for the Monday quiz.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing<\/strong>:\u00a0<em>Students will take a position on public issue<\/em>. Please have your child read the passage four times a week. Each time should include three attempts.
