Students will study List A or List B for the week, depending on pretest results.&nbsp; All students will need to study the words in \u201cboth\u201d section.&nbsp; &nbsp; There will be 5 content words added as well&nbsp;for a total of 20 words.<\/em><\/li><li>Tic-Tac-Toe: Students will use the same board for the first nine weeks.&nbsp; They will choose three squares&nbsp; to complete and hand in on Friday.&nbsp; Have fun&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reading<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>for 20-30 Minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~20-30 minutes \u2013In addition to reading books, students may use &nbsp;Mobymax and any reading assignment towards the 30 minutes of reading . Log your reflections\/summary in the homework page titled Reading Log.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~<strong>Reading:<\/strong>\u00a0 For the next few weeks we will be learning Informational text standards 3.2, 3.9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RI 3.2 Determine the main idea of a text; recount the key details and explain how they support the main idea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RI 3.9 Compare and contrast the most important points and key details presented in two texts on the same topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Language Arts:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will study grammar&nbsp;and language review Monday-Thursday.&nbsp; Study guides comes home Thursday and the quiz will be on Friday. Skills include: compound subject, editing, correct phrase, and spelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Math<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVE<\/strong>: Place value and problem solving with units of measure.<br><strong>Homework<\/strong>: pages will be assigned daily from the succeed book. Sometimes, homework will also be in the weekend. Quizzes and tests will be announced on Class Dojo and Planners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Math using Technology:&nbsp;<strong>Zearn<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Mobymax<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Social Studies<\/strong>: History of Michigan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3- H3.0.3&nbsp;Describe the causal relationships between three events in Michigan\u2019s past (e.g., Erie Canal, statehood)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3-H3.0.5&nbsp;Describe how Indians &amp; settlers adapted to, used, &amp; modified their environments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3-H3.0.6&nbsp;Describe interactions between Indians &amp; European settlers in Michigan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3-H3.0.9&nbsp;Describe how Michigan attained statehood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3-H3.0.10&nbsp;Create a timeline to sequence early Michigan history<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Snacks<\/strong>: Thanks for providing your child a healthy snack.
