Students will study List A or List B for the week, depending on pretest results.&nbsp; All students will need to study the words in \u201cboth\u201d section.&nbsp; &nbsp; There will be 5 content words added as well&nbsp;for a total of 20 words.<\/em><\/li><li>Tic-Tac-Toe: Students will use the same board for the first nine weeks.&nbsp; They will choose three squares&nbsp; to complete and hand in on Friday.&nbsp; Have fun&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reading<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>for 20-30 Minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~20-30 minutes \u2013In addition to reading books, students may use &nbsp;Mobymax and any reading assignment towards the 30 minutes of reading . Log your reflections\/summary in the homework page titled Reading Log.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~<strong>Reading:<\/strong>&nbsp; For the next few weeks we will be learning Informational text standards 3.1, 3.4, and 3.5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RI. 3.1 Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for the answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RI. 3.4 Determine the meaning of general academic and domain-specific words and phrases in a text relevant to a&nbsp;<em>grade 3 topic or subject area<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RI. 3.5 Use text features and search tools (e.g., key words, sidebars, hyperlinks) to locate information relevant to a given topic efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start writing or type \/ to choose a block<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Language Arts:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will study grammar&nbsp;and language review Monday-Thursday.&nbsp; Study guides comes home Thursday and the quiz will be on Friday. Skills include: compound subject, editing, correct phrase, and spelling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Math<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVE<\/strong>: Round two- and three-digit numbers to the nearest ten and hundred on the vertical number line.<br><strong>Homework<\/strong>: pages will be assigned daily from the succeed book. Sometimes, homework will also be in the weekend. Quizzes will be announced on Class Dojo and Planners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Math using Technology: Zearn and Mobymax<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Social Studies<\/strong>: 3-G2 Places and Regions Understand how regions are created from common physical and human characteristics. 3 \u2013 G2.0.1 Use a variety of visual materials and data sources to describe ways in which Michigan can be divided into regions.  Examples may include but are not limited to: physical features (lakes versus land), land use (forest, agriculture, urban), and political (state, county, and tribal boundaries)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Snacks<\/strong>: Thanks for providing your child a healthy snack.
