Today I will be giving three reasons to support my opinion. I will explain why video games cause harm to our health, cause situations with the brain, and promote violence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For starters, modern day video games can harm our mental health . In the article <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do Video Games Rot Kids Brains?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Margaret Buckler states, \u2018\u2019Playing shooter games can harm the hippocampus area of the brain, killing brain cells.\u2019\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondly, theses games can cause problems with our physical health. In the same article, it states that \u2018\u2019the constant need to play these games has several negative unhealthy effects on children.\u2019\u2019 \u00a0More gaming means less exercise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last but not least, shooting games can promote violence. In games such as Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto [GTA] there is a lot of violence. You see punching, shooting, assault, weapons, and inappropriate language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In summary, video games can cause a lot of damage. Gaming has a very negative affect on people&#8217;s health, electronic devices can hurt the hippocampus.
