March 13th is a late start for the A.M. class only.\u00a0 The students will be home at their normal time.<\/li>\n<li>Sun. March 10th is daylight Saving Time &#8211; Spring clocks ahead one hour<\/li>\n<li>Wed. March 20th is the First Day of Spring!\u00a0 WE ARE READY!\u00a0 BRING IT ON!!!!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Reading Activities for March is reading month<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The first activity was sent home on Thurs\/Fri.\u00a0 Please read a book with your son or daughter fill out the red paper and return it to school.\u00a0 The school is going to make a giant rainbow with all the papers that is returned.\u00a0 Each grade level has a different color paper to bring back to school.<\/li>\n<li>A student minute chart will be sent home on Tues.\u00a0 Please fill out and return at the end of the month so your child will be entered into the &#8220;Bikes for Books&#8221; raffle and they will have a chance to win a Bike!!!<\/li>\n<li>This week I will be sending home a sheet to be filled out about your child&#8217;s favorite book. Please answer the questions the best you can.\u00a0 The questions are a little hard for preschoolers but the sheet is going home with everyone in the whole school.\u00a0 Just draw a picture with your child about the book.\u00a0 Return and they will be hung up on the lockers for all to see.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Theme:\u00a0 Is the book The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle\u00a0 &#8211; We will be decorating your classroom door with a spider web and spiders made by the students to be a part of the school wide &#8211; Decorate your classroom door with your favorite book!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Colors:\u00a0 Brown and purple<\/p>\n<p>Shape:\u00a0 Shamrock for St. Patrick&#8217;s Day<\/p>\n<p>Math:\u00a0 Counting and number ID.<\/p>\n<p>Opposites:\u00a0 Empty\/Full, Long\/Short, Day\/NIght<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well we made it to the month of March!
