Happy November everyone! \u00a0I hope everyone enjoyed their day off from school yesterday and the wonderful weather. \u00a0Remember on Friday November 6, 2015 is a half day of school with dismissal at 11:45 AM. \u00a0Also, I will be sending home reminder slips about the parent\/teacher conferences that will happen in the next two weeks. \u00a0If you have not signed up for a time please see me so we can schedule a conference.<\/p>\n

On Saturday November 14, 2015 is the Lindbergh Holiday Boutique. \u00a0Our class is making a gift basket with the theme ARTS and CRAFTS. \u00a0Mrs. Dewey and Mrs. Deebajah have been collecting money and craft items for the raffle basket. \u00a0Thank you to all that have donated money or items. \u00a0If you have not donated toward the basket there is still time. \u00a0The basket is to be made by Friday November 6, 2015. \u00a0Also, if you have donated items to the basket please let me know how much the items cost so we can calculate the correct money amount for the basket.The Lindbergh Boutique is the biggest fundraiser for our school. \u00a0The money raised is given to the teachers to help with getting educational items for the children to use in the classroom.<\/p>\n

This week we are learning about the new alphafriend Mimi Mouse<\/strong> and the letter sound M. \u00a0We are reviewing the letter sound for S too. \u00a0We are continuing learning to read to self and creating more books for our book boxes. \u00a0We are getting better and learning to have stamina while we read. \u00a0We are also learning about colors and learning a color poem. \u00a0We will be playing different color games and making a color book. \u00a0Our class is getting better with coloring, writing, and using scissors. \u00a0Please continue to practice these skills at home. \u00a0In math we are learning about patterns and playing counting games with number recognition.<\/p>\n
