Hello Everyone!<\/p>\n

OCTOBER SNACK : Tyler Elliott and Brooklyn Elliott<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just a reminder that Friday October 12, 2018 is a Half Day of School with dismissal at 11:45 AM.\u00a0 Also, please remember that the children will not eat lunch at school but\u00a0 remember to bring a snack.<\/p>\n

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered for our field trip to the Plymouth Apple orchard.\u00a0 Not the greatest weather but a successful trip.\u00a0 Thank you for being my helping hands.\u00a0 Harry’s Mother shared some pictures with me from the trip.\u00a0 If anyone would like me to forward them to you please let me know.<\/p>\n

I will be sending home a note tomorrow about bringing in your child’s favorite kind of apple.\u00a0 We will be having an apple tasting party on Friday October 12, 2018.\u00a0 If you are able to bring in an apple, it is much appreciated.\u00a0 We will be graphing our favorite kind of apples.<\/p>\n

As the weather is changing please dress your child according to the weather.\u00a0 Also, please practice putting on their coats and zipping the coat themselves at home.<\/p>\n

We have been practicing building stamina with our book boxes and learning three good ways to read books to become better readers.\u00a0 We have been learning and doing many activities with apples and fire safety. We just finished our first book for our book boxes. Also, we have started working on our leadership binders too.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mayhew our school social worker has left Dearborn Public Schools and is working for another school district.\u00a0 He was a great asset to Lindbergh Elementary School andwill be missed greatly.\u00a0 For now, we do not have a fulltime social worker.\u00a0 Hopefully soon we will receive a replacement and our Second Step social and emotional program and our reward program will return to normal.<\/p>\n
