First, I would like to thank everyone for making our Muffin’s for Mom’s a huge success and a fun morning.\u00a0 I hope all the Mother’s enjoyed their special morning.\u00a0 Also, thank you so much for being so kind to me last week during Teacher Appreciation Week.\u00a0 All the surprises during the week made me feel so special.\u00a0 I truly appreciate you all.\u00a0 Also, for those celebrating Ramadan… I wish you and your family Ramadan Kareem!\u00a0 May it be a joyous and peaceful month of fasting.<\/p>\n

Our city of Dearborn Cleanup Parade is Thursday May 17, 2018 at 1:30 PM.\u00a0 All are welcome to join us on this day.\u00a0 We will be making a headband to wear but if you would like to make a small sign with your child to carry during the parade you are more than welcome to do so.<\/p>\n
Our last Popcorn Friday is Friday May 18, 2018.\u00a0 remember 4 bag limit 25 cents each.<\/p>\n
The boxtop collection due date is Friday May 18, 2018.<\/p>\n
The Scholastic Bookfair is this week.\u00a0 The wish lists were sent home on Monday.\u00a0 If you choose to purchase a book please send the money in or visit the fair yourself.\u00a0 It is located in the library.<\/p>\n
This week I hopefully will be starting our final testing.\u00a0 Also, we will be learning the sight word “this” and learning about the letter O, Ozzie the Octopus.\u00a0 This letter is a helping friend who helps us to make short O words.\u00a0 We are still practicing writing our numbers and making our number books.\u00a0 In Science we are discussing plants and the environment.\u00a0 Hopefully soon we will be planting seeds and watching them grow.\u00a0 Please continue to express the importance of listening and following directions to your child.\u00a0 Some of our behavior is not being a Leader and maybe we need just a little reminder!!!<\/p>\n
