Students learned a new song called &#8220;Joy&#8221; and were excited to have their performance recorded during class for the blog. We have also been working on singing the pitches called\u00a0<em>so, mi, and la\u00a0<\/em>using hand signs. Hand signs and pitch syllables help singers\u00a0figure out how a song will sound without having to hear it first.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com\/736x\/19\/cc\/13\/19cc13d47420d03aff90aff86d9f1029.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"581\" height=\"149\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ask your child about the three hand signs for so, la, and mi.
