Self help skills also help your child to feel empowered!&nbsp; We practice many of these at school on a daily basis.&nbsp; Try working on one or more of the skills listed below today:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Put toys away<\/li><li>Dress\/undress themselves as much as possible<\/li><li>Pulling pants up and down when its time to use the bathroom<\/li><li>Put shoes on<\/li><li>Wipe face clean after meals<\/li><li>Use utensils (spoon or fork)<\/li><li>Help make their bed<\/li><li>Help prepare meals\/set table<\/li><li>Work on potty training if your child is ready<\/li><li>Wipe down tables<\/li><li>Put away clean clothes<\/li><li>Brush their hair\/teeth&nbsp;<\/li><li>Wash hands \u2013 we worked on this every day at school they know they the steps!&nbsp;<\/li><li>Throw away trash after a snack&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sesame Street: Washy Wash Song | How to Wash Your Hands\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yQn0z6xa8II?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
