{"id":46,"date":"2013-09-11T14:36:29","date_gmt":"2013-09-11T18:36:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/sbeity\/?p=46"},"modified":"2013-09-11T14:38:09","modified_gmt":"2013-09-11T18:38:09","slug":"tuesday-september-10-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/sbeity\/2013\/09\/11\/tuesday-september-10-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday, September 10, 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Ms. Sbeity and Miss Yandura&#8217;s Language Arts 3 Class:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>We started our grammar glossary to help us with our bellwork and writing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We discussed the norms for the reading strategy &#8220;Talking to the Text&#8221;.\u00a0 We read an article as a class to practice the strategy.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ms. Sbeity&#8217;s Spanish Class:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Along with the entire school, we discussed situations in which we exhibit valuing ourselves, others, and safety in the community.<\/p>\n<p>Spanish 2:\u00a0 We reviewed our new vocabulary on foods and ordering in a restaurant.\u00a0 Also we reviewed the verb &#8220;ser&#8221; to describe things and people. (Vocabulary List, Worksheet on &#8220;Ser&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>Spanish 3\/4:\u00a0 We applied our new vocabulary to discuss things we liked to do as a child.\u00a0 Also we were introduced to the imperfect verb tense that we need in order to express things that happened in the past.
