{"id":884,"date":"2018-06-10T14:05:47","date_gmt":"2018-06-10T18:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=884"},"modified":"2018-06-10T22:30:09","modified_gmt":"2018-06-11T02:30:09","slug":"week-37-june-11-to-june-14-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2018\/06\/10\/week-37-june-11-to-june-14-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 37:  June 11 to June 14, 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stmichaelguardians.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/last-week-of-school-200x200.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/>\u00a0Thank you and Goodbye 6th Grade students, parents and guardians!<\/p>\n<p>I cannot believe this is our last post for the school year (17-18).\u00a0 I am extremely proud of your growth and accomplishments you&#8217;ve had this school year.\u00a0 You have survived the first year of middle school and are ready to carry your knowledge along to 7th and 8th grade!\u00a0 However, my wish for you is to reflect on yourself this summer, think about your successes, freights, or fails you had this year and set some new goals for yourself; these goals could be about you personally or academically!<\/p>\n<p>I believe in every one of you and I know the journey to your future is in your hands.\u00a0 My door is always open and I am looking forward to receiving an invite from you when you graduate high school and college!\u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright \" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/52\/ca\/54\/52ca54ed346ccfa4e94fd9b8415bbc0d.jpg\" width=\"371\" height=\"386\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thank\u00a0 you for le<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-886\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1268\/2018\/06\/6thGrade-last-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"242\" height=\"181\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1268\/2018\/06\/6thGrade-last-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1268\/2018\/06\/6thGrade-last-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1268\/2018\/06\/6thGrade-last-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 242px) 100vw, 242px\" \/>tting me teach you Science this year!\u00a0 Have a great summer everyone and HAPPY EID to the families who observed Ramadan this year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1268\/2018\/06\/6thGrade-last-1.jpg\">\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This week in Science:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students are scheduled to attend a field trip to the Adventure Park Monday\/Tuesday.\u00a0 \u00a0Students scheduled to go will be meeting with their chaperone right after ADVISORY.\u00a0 Those not attending will go to their first hour elective then meet in the 6th grade hallway for schedule transition throughout the day.\u00a0 Assignment will be posted on Google Classroom for Science and it will be due on Wednesday 6\/13.\u00a0 Report cards will be mailed the following week.<\/li>\n<li>Please make sure to dress accordingly to the weather forecast and bring a bagged lunch while on the field trip.<\/li>\n<li>Locker clean-up is planned for Monday 6\/11 around 2:30 pm.<\/li>\n<li>Last assignment for this year deals with Climate Change in relation to human activity.\u00a0 (<em>Google Classroom<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Have a wonderful SUMMER 2018 everyone and I will see you in August.<\/li>\n<li>Your science teacher next year will either be Mr. Baerwalde or Mrs. Bitar.
