{"id":834,"date":"2018-03-18T21:45:19","date_gmt":"2018-03-19T01:45:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=834"},"modified":"2018-03-18T21:45:19","modified_gmt":"2018-03-19T01:45:19","slug":"week-26-march-19-to-23-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2018\/03\/18\/week-26-march-19-to-23-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 26: March 19 to 23, 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The power of TEAMWORK was visible in the classroom last week!<\/p>\n<p>Students worked diligently last week to assemble their Thermal Energy Efficient model homes (A&amp;B-Day), along with the completion of African American scientist gallery Walk &#8220;A-Day only&#8221; and the completion of Thermal Energy Transfer exam (A&amp;B-Day).\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"https:\/\/www.michiganstateuniversityonline.com\/media\/12048556\/teamwork-in-culture.jpg\" width=\"398\" height=\"224\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t be more proud of their hard work and dedication.\u00a0 Keep it up 6th graders!<\/p>\n<p>This week in 6th Grade science&#8230;..<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will take part in a gallery walk as they explain and visit African American Scientist projects then compare their scientist to their peers using a &#8220;double-bubble&#8221; thinking map.<\/li>\n<li>We will be testing our Energy Efficient Home projects using an infrared camera.
