{"id":765,"date":"2017-11-05T16:29:48","date_gmt":"2017-11-05T21:29:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=765"},"modified":"2017-11-05T16:30:48","modified_gmt":"2017-11-05T21:30:48","slug":"week-10-116-to-1110","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2017\/11\/05\/week-10-116-to-1110\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 10: 11\/6 to 11\/10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/thumb\/8\/83\/Celltypes.svg\/500px-Celltypes.svg.png\" width=\"321\" height=\"134\" \/>Last week students participated in a mini class project where they designed a model of a prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell including 3 or more characteristics to show their understanding thus far in this lesson.\u00a0 However they didn&#8217;t get a chance to describe their models or critique their peers.\u00a0 Also we didn&#8217;t get a chance to take the lab quiz.\u00a0 The latter two will be completed this week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REMINDER:<\/strong> There is no school on Tuesday 11\/8\/2017.<\/p>\n<p>This week students will&#8230;.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/images.slideplayer.com\/12\/3435013\/slides\/slide_4.jpg\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Locate their new seating chart for the new marking period.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1268\/2017\/11\/2nd-Marking.Seating.Chart_.pdf\">2nd Marking.Seating.Chart<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Complete their design of prokaryotic or eukaryotic cell models and present it in small groups then to the class.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Be evaluated on their input &amp; output lab stations.<\/li>\n<li>Connect what they learned independently from lab stations to class lecture. Be able to identify and then justify the characterics cells have and justify why they are classified to currently recognized kingdoms.<\/li>\n<li>Choose one of the projects listed\u00a0 on the pamphlet to present to the class.
