{"id":750,"date":"2017-10-15T14:54:20","date_gmt":"2017-10-15T18:54:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=750"},"modified":"2017-10-15T14:54:20","modified_gmt":"2017-10-15T18:54:20","slug":"week-7-1016-to-1020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2017\/10\/15\/week-7-1016-to-1020\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 7 : 10\/16 to 10\/20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have been working diligently for the past 2 weeks on our Science learning plan and Cell Theory along with the similar functions ALL cells carry.\u00a0 We have come to a realization how cell are the smallest and MOST complex units of LIFE.\u00a0 Students have been working hard to learn the steps of researching a topic and attempting to write it in their own words.\u00a0 We will continue to have a few circle gatherings this week to discuss their posters and what confusion they might still have.\u00a0 Also, we will have a short gallery walk for students to write down facts from their partners&#8217; posters to have in their journal for project assessment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This week in CELLS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our Essential Questions for this week are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>WHY DO WE SHIVER OR SWEAT?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>How do we know SOMETHING is ALIVE?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>What are the sign of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humanillnesses.com\/original\/Her-Kid\/Infection.html\">infection<\/a>? How do you treat an infection?<\/li>\n<li><strong>How does LIFE result from Cell STRUCTURE and FUNCTION?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><em>What are microorganisms?
