Also&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Science NWEA is almost complete. \u00a0Most of the students completed the assessment and copied their score onto their science journal, while others didn&#8217;t finish and some were absent last week. \u00a0It will be finalized this week and students will find out what 3 classes showed the most growth from the Fall to Spring of this year. \u00a0I am proud of all that did their best and continue to show growth.<\/li>\n<li>Spirit week continues this week and this Friday students are encouraged to wear any hat of their choice and pay $1 for participating. \u00a0These funds will help 6th graders&#8217; budget for the field trip scheduled to take place on May 19.<\/li>\n<li>M-Step testing will begin next week for our 6th grade team. \u00a0However, 6th grade students will not be tested in Science this year, they will be assessed next year.<\/li>\n<li>Lastly, 5th graders(future 6th graders) will be visiting our school on Thursday, May4 for middle school orientation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In science this week:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will complete Science NWEA testing<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Finalize our discussion about Global Warming and how to take care of our planet Earth.<\/li>\n<li>Review interior layers of the Earth and focus on Plate Tectonic Boundaries.<\/li>\n<li>Tectonic Boundaries Graham Cracker Lab (Students who donate any 3 supplies will receive 10% extra credit to their lab and\/or classwork for the week). \u00a0Thank you in advance for helping out.\n<ul>\n<li>Graham crackers<\/li>\n<li>Shaving cream<\/li>\n<li>Cool whip\/frosting<\/li>\n<li>Paper Plates (large plates)<\/li>\n<li>Plastic knives\/spoons<\/li>\n<li>Wax paper<\/li>\n<li>Styrofoam\/plastic Cups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have a great week everyone and I hope you make this week another Great and Curious week.
