{"id":563,"date":"2017-04-24T08:34:49","date_gmt":"2017-04-24T12:34:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=563"},"modified":"2017-04-24T08:34:49","modified_gmt":"2017-04-24T12:34:49","slug":"week-of-april-24-2017-to-april-28-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2017\/04\/24\/week-of-april-24-2017-to-april-28-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of April 24, 2017 to April 28, 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning and welcome to another week in Science.<\/p>\n<p>NWEA science testing will begin this week on Monday for &#8220;B&#8221; Day students and Thursday for &#8220;A&#8221; Day students. \u00a0Goodluck to all! \u00a0I will be opening the sessions throughout the week for makeup or incase students were absent on testing days. \u00a0Afterward, we will focus on Earth Day and the project students completed last week regarding the continental drift theory.<\/p>\n<p>This Friday is another Spirit week to help raise funds for our 6th grade field trip. \u00a0The theme for this Friday is :<\/p>\n<p>Show your viking pride on Friday for\u00a0<strong>Class Color War Day<\/strong>..<\/p>\n<p><strong>6th grade<\/strong> are encouraged to participate and ALL wear <strong>BLUE<\/strong> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7th grade<\/strong> will wear<strong> yellow<\/strong> to represent their grade, and<\/p>\n<p><strong>8th grade<\/strong> wears <strong>white<\/strong> to represent their grade.<\/p>\n<p>Goodluck to ALL during NWEA science testing this week and their goal is to beat their Fall Science NWEA score by at least 10-15 points.
