{"id":543,"date":"2017-03-12T08:12:18","date_gmt":"2017-03-12T12:12:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=543"},"modified":"2017-03-12T08:16:31","modified_gmt":"2017-03-12T12:16:31","slug":"week-of-march-13-to-march-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2017\/03\/12\/week-of-march-13-to-march-17\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of March 13 to March 17"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning everyone!<\/p>\n<p>Reminders for this week&#8230;.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Late start on Wednesday 3.15<\/li>\n<li>Dress for Success on Wednesday<\/li>\n<li>School Spirit Day on Friday (Wear your favorite college gear).<\/li>\n<li>Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled for Wednesday 3\/22 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This week&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We will continue with our investigations on Mechanical Energy, Potential Energy and Kinetic Energy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A-Day students will continue their roller coaster lab investigation. \u00a0B-Day students will\u00a0begin their roller coaster lab investigation as they create 3 different designs, build it then test it in class for revision.<\/li>\n<li>We will also continue with our discussions and investigations in regards to the Rube Goldberg Machine. \u00a0Some students are interested to submit their design \u00a0and writing online. \u00a0I will post this information on Google Classroom (Deadline for this contest is on April 10, 2017).<\/li>\n<li>Lastly this week, we will discuss and clarify any misconceptions regarding Mechanical, potential and kinetic energy on lecture days (Thursday &amp; Friday). \u00a0I will post my lecture powerpoint as well on Google Classroom.<\/li>\n<li>A copy of my planbook for this week is posted below<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/planbook.com\/planbook.html?t=1247346&amp;k=savage-science\">https:\/\/planbook.com\/planbook.html?t=1247346&amp;k=savage-science<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Have a wonderful week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning everyone!
