{"id":434,"date":"2016-10-23T16:00:25","date_gmt":"2016-10-23T20:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=434"},"modified":"2016-10-24T08:40:46","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T12:40:46","slug":"week-of-october-24-to-28-2016-conference-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2016\/10\/23\/week-of-october-24-to-28-2016-conference-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of October 24 to 28, 2016 (Conference Week)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week we will finalize our learning and investigations on the topic Energy Pyramid of any ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>This week in Science students will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete and evaluate their Frayer models and their colleagues as we carry a round table discussion.<\/li>\n<li>Give feedback what science stations they needed to review together as a class.<\/li>\n<li>Generate notes in their science journals about the cycling of biomass and flow of energy in an ecosystem among biotic and abiotic factors, as I use the power point I posted on Google classroom.<\/li>\n<li>Turn in and present their ENERGY PYRAMID project. \u00a0Project is due on Thursday for A-Day students, and on Friday for B-Day students.<\/li>\n<li>Energy Pyramid Test will be administered on Thursday for A-Day students and on Friday for B-Day students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I will preview students&#8217; science journals during TEST day to assess their note-taking and organizational skills.<\/p>\n<p>Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Monday 10\/24 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. \u00a0I am looking forward to seeing you on either day to discuss your child&#8217;s progress and behavior in science.
