Welcome Back! <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you had a restful week off and are ready to pick up from last time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As promised, there will be a weekly calendar<\/span> <\/strong>shared with you every Monday that includes every subject you are enrolled in, your teacher’s notes and IBLOG along with a quick summary of the lessons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treat it as your weekly planner, then make sure to utilize Google Classroom and our IBLOG for further explanation. This week in Science, will be focused on helping you catch up and submit missing assignments from the past 3 weeks of virtual learning. These assignments are due on Friday 4\/17\/2020. The main assignments I am focusing on are : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Cell Theory Lab (Posted on March 16)<\/li>
  2. CER (Located under UNIT 6.2 posted on 3\/24)<\/li>
  3. Super Science Article Review (Posted on 3\/25) <\/li>
  4. FlipGrid Video Review (posted on 3\/27)<\/li>
  5. Respiratory System Lab (Located under Wednesday 4\/1 assignment and posted on 4\/1) <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you are all caught up and submitted the assignments above, then complete following enrichment and fun science activities and discussions below. These are due on Friday 4\/17 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Helicopter Engineering project <\/span>: In this video episode of Learning Space<\/strong>, you’ll learn how to build a paper helicopter. Follow the directions and build the paper helicopter then see if you can improve the design like NASA engineers did when making the first helicopter for Mars. <\/li>
    2. Science Discussion<\/span> Question for Google Meet: Our question for this week is .. Do you think people should always protect themselves from germs?<\/strong> Answer this question and be prepared to share your thought on Wednesday during our Google Meet. <\/li>
    3. Our Vocabulary word<\/strong> for this week is : Fossil<\/span> <\/strong>. There is a video embedded for you to watch and explore some animal fossils. <\/li>
    4. Video of the week<\/strong> deals with electricity. <\/span> Bill Nye explains the nature of electricity. Think about this question as you watch the video;  Explain what life would be like without electricity. <\/strong> Answer this question and be prepared to share your thoughts on Friday. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Google Meet:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> Join us on Wednesday and Friday<\/strong> to discuss the assignments above. Here is your schedule and time. The link will be posted 5 minutes before our scheduled meet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
