Both writing (Summary Table) and 6.1.5 Quiz are summative grades.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We started a new lesson (6.1.6) this week where students went on a journey with their 1 o&#8217;clock buddy as a water molecule. The journey was designed to answer the question: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> &#8221; <strong><em>Where does the water in our community came from, and where would it go to next? &#8220;<\/em><\/strong>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week we will continue to&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Explore the journey of water around our community. <\/li><li>Create a storyboard revealing their water molecule journey around all 10 stations. <\/li><li>Start a summative writing assignment (C.E.R.E.R.C) explaining how and why  water keeps changing from solid to liquid and to gas state. <\/li><li>Create a Present Day Lot Model showing their revisions from the original forest model. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Unit 1 Project will also be presented to students after they are assigned to their project groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Progress reports will be sent home the week of December 9, 2019 . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a great week! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs. Savage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week in science, students were given time to complete and submit their Summary Table from lesson 5 (6.1.5 Summary Table on Google Classroom).
