{"id":1076,"date":"2019-01-06T14:39:04","date_gmt":"2019-01-06T19:39:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=1076"},"modified":"2019-01-06T14:39:04","modified_gmt":"2019-01-06T19:39:04","slug":"week-18-january-7-to-january-11-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2019\/01\/06\/week-18-january-7-to-january-11-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 18: January 7 to January 11, 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i.ndtvimg.com\/i\/2017-12\/happy-new-year-2018-istock_650x400_61514711188.jpg\" width=\"313\" height=\"193\" \/>Happy New Year everyone!\u00a0 \u00a0I hope you had a restful and memorable 2018\/2019 Winter Break.<\/p>\n<p>As we return this week :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will revise their Fall learning plan in preparation for the Winter NWEA.<\/li>\n<li>There will be a review of our class and school&#8217;s PBIS procedures:\n<ol>\n<li>Coming to class on time and prepared (<em>responsible<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Utilizing planner to stay up to date with assignments and assessments <em>(responsible<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Walk on the right side of the hallway and dress accordingly to weather <em>(safe).<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Respect our learning time in class, materials, classmates, teachers and peers (<em>Respectful).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students will compare and contrast the structure and function of animal and plant cell organelles using the CER format.<\/li>\n<li>We will review the structure and functions of plant and animal cell organelles in preparation for the test on Friday 1\/11 and Monday 1\/14.\n<ul>\n<li>A paper study guide will be provided to each student along with a CELL BINGO review game held in class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Welcome back and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow, bright and early!<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Savage<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy New Year everyone!\u00a0 \u00a0I hope you had a restful and memorable 2018\/2019 Winter Break.
