This week, students will use their notes as a resource to build a eukaryotic cell. Their goal is to determine what organelles plant and animal cells have along with their function.\u00a0 To master this goal students will&#8230;..<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build a cell with their partner<\/li>\n<li>Determine what cell it is found in<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Identify the function of that organelle<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Explain what would happen if that organelle were missing from the cell<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Afterward, students will take part in a scavenger hunt as they independently travel around the classroom &amp; hallway to answer 23 task cards as a review activity.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, students completed 2-3 input lab stations to identify organelles plant and animal cells have along with their function.\u00a0 They will be assessed <b>on what they discovered\u00a0<\/b>on Tuesday &amp; Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft \" src=\"https:\/\/sierrabonita.nebo.edu\/sites\/sierrabonita.nebo.edu\/files\/styles\/large\/public\/can-you-help.png?itok=Ilu8zJud\" width=\"303\" height=\"161\" \/>***<strong>You help is needed<\/strong> for our edible Science Lab next week!\u00a0 Your\u00a0donation from the list provided is greatly appreciated.\u00a0 This list will be posted on <strong>Google Classroom<\/strong> (P.S. <em>students will receive 10 points credit on their lab for supply donation<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Progress reports<\/strong> are scheduled to be mailed this week\/next week.\u00a0 Students scoring a C- or less in Science will be receiving one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have a great week!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Savage<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Building a Cell, Scavenger Hunt &amp; Progress Reports Week!\u00a0\u00a0 A fun but busy week is approaching us!\u00a0 We have been learning about cells of living organisms for the past few weeks!
