{"id":1067,"date":"2018-12-02T15:44:58","date_gmt":"2018-12-02T20:44:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/?p=1067"},"modified":"2018-12-02T15:44:58","modified_gmt":"2018-12-02T20:44:58","slug":"week-15-december-3-to-december-7-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/savagea\/2018\/12\/02\/week-15-december-3-to-december-7-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 15: December 3 to December 7, 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A few reminders for students as the school year progresses:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright \" src=\"https:\/\/p13cdn4static.sharpschool.com\/UserFiles\/Servers\/Server_186156\/Image\/Our%20School\/Students\/Juniors\/summer%20school%20reminder.jpg\" width=\"217\" height=\"167\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dress Code:\u00a0<\/strong> Students are to dress appropriately with a coat, hat, gloves and boots when needed according to weather conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Students show <strong>responsibility<\/strong> daily by :\n<ul>\n<li>Being it to class on time<\/li>\n<li>Coming to class prepared with their planner, supplies and what is needed.<\/li>\n<li>Making good use of 6 minutes passing time for water and restroom use .<\/li>\n<li>Walking quietly on the right side of the hallway.<\/li>\n<li>Using their planner wisely to turn in assignments on time.<\/li>\n<li>Checking their grades and assignments daily posted on <strong>&#8220;student connect&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft \" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/86\/42\/6a\/86426a5d4f72370e89c4981dafbe44ed.jpg\" width=\"259\" height=\"305\" \/><strong>This week in Science, 6th grade students<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will take pride in presenting their <strong>Prokaryote vs Eukaryote project<\/strong> of their choice to explain differences between each.<\/li>\n<li>Will work independently with their <em><strong>7 o&#8217;clock science buddy<\/strong><\/em> to complete input and output <strong>lab stations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Will <strong>complete their Frayer model vocabulary<\/strong> assignment.\u00a0 Each Frayer Model will include:\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Definition<\/strong> of assigned word (from their notes instead of GOOGLE)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Illustration<\/strong> \/ image of it<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s <strong>function<\/strong> in a eukaryotic cell (plant\/animal cell)<\/li>\n<li>What cell is it <strong>found<\/strong> in ?
