Parent Teacher Conferences<\/strong> along with our annual Scholastic Book Fair<\/strong> is happening this week!<\/p>\n

Conferences<\/strong> are on Monday 11\/12 and Wednesday 11\/14<\/strong> between 4pm and 7pm.\u00a0 Please make sure to pick up your child’s report card first from the atrium.\u00a0 There will be a 5 minute time<\/strong><\/em> limit per parent conference.<\/p>\n

Parents\/Guardians, please visit the media center and atrium on conference evenings for the following:<\/span><\/i><\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • To learn\u00a0 about and sign up for Parent Connect<\/strong> (helps you monitor your child’s progress<\/em>) and\u00a0Google Classroom;<\/strong>\u00a0Student leaders will be available to help you through this process<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  • If you are interested to join the PTA<\/strong>, please take\/complete a membership form located in the atrium.\n
      \n
    • Note that students that have a parent sign up for membership will receive a Flex Friday “reward session” in December<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    • If you are unable to commit to a specific time as part of PTA, you could simply make a $10 donation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Lastly, Viking Spirit Wear will also be available for purchase\u00a0 along with our annual Scholastic Book Fair.<\/p>\n

      In Science this week:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • We will finalize INPUT and OUTPUT Science Station labs to recognize the differences between prokaryotes and eukaryotes.<\/li>\n
      • Lab Quiz on Wednesday (A-Day<\/em>) and Thursday (B-Day<\/em>)<\/li>\n
      • Lecture on microorganisms and the 6 kingdoms they belong to.<\/li>\n
      • Introduce Prokaryote & Eukaryote project with multiple presentation options available.\u00a0 Students are able to work in small groups of no more than 3 members to a group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
