They should include activities that are unnecessary but engaging. \u00a0 Do not include sleeping or shopping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0Teacher or Student: \u00a0Read aloud the &#8220;I Am&#8221; poem directions.<\/li>\n<li>Rough Draft: \u00a0Students will apply their pre-writing journal to the \u00a0&#8220;I Am&#8221; poem directions on looseleaf paper.<\/li>\n<li>Final Draft: \u00a0Students will complete the &#8220;I Am&#8221; poem with a colored illustration of its theme on one side of a copy paper.<\/li>\n<li>Submission: \u00a0Students will submit all work. \u00a0<strong>No work goes home.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Objective: \u00a0I can discover special traits about myself by writing a journal entry and completing the steps of &#8220;I Am&#8221; poem handout.
