Humor?<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0Promethean Board: \u00a0The whole class will build the graphic organizer beginning with the goal of &#8220;refuting a counterargument&#8221; with the techniques of &#8220;anecdote&#8221; and &#8220;humor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0Promethean Board: \u00a0Teacher models the next two goals\/techniques.<\/p>\n<p>4. \u00a0Group Work: \u00a0Students will identify quotes with separate markers for each technique.<\/p>\n<p>5. \u00a0Share Out: \u00a0If time allows, volunteers will share the findings of quotes for one or two goals\/techniques.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Objective: \u00a0I can identify quotes that illustrate three of Kristof&#8217;s writing goals by completing parts of the graphic organizer with my specific highlighter while consulting with my elbow partners in the group.
