Objective<\/strong>: \u00a0I can add evidence to my bucket organizer from the AOW “Opening the Door”\u00a0 by identifying three pieces of evidence for each of the four buckets and writing it in the appropriate category while consulting with my elbow partner. \u00a0(Honors) I can begin annotating the\u00a0Atlantic<\/em> AOW about cellphone addiction.<\/p>\n

BW<\/strong>: \u00a0Use the 4-Step Process for five vocabulary words from the\u00a0Atlantic<\/em> article about cellphone addiction for these words:\u00a0 ubiquitous(adj), rationalization(n), deleterious(adj), cajole(v), and incessant(adj).\u00a0 A Word Wall vote will be taken during this time.<\/p>\n

Activities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0Show the word!<\/li>\n
  2. Think Pair\/Share: \u00a0List pieces of evidence for two more buckets from the “Opening the Door to Cellphones” AOW.<\/li>\n
  3. Independent Study: \u00a0Complete the fourth bucket on the back of the organizer.<\/li>\n
  4. (Honors) Independent Study: \u00a0Students will begin the annotation process for the\u00a0Atlantic\u00a0<\/em>AOW about cellphone addiction.<\/li>\n
  5. Word Wall: \u00a0The vote will be tallied and announced. \u00a0One word will be selected from each class and entered onto the Word Wall.<\/li>\n
  6. Reminders<\/strong>: \u00a0(Honors) HW completion of the bucket organizer and annotations for “Opening the Door” will be collected today at the beginning of the hour.\u00a0HW<\/strong>: L.A. 3 Students should submit their annotated “Opening the Door” AOW with the bucket organizer containing 3 quotes for each of the 4 buckets on Wednesday.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
