{"id":1232,"date":"2016-04-07T04:45:55","date_gmt":"2016-04-07T08:45:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/sapienp\/?p=1232"},"modified":"2016-04-07T04:47:13","modified_gmt":"2016-04-07T08:47:13","slug":"april-7-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/sapienp\/2016\/04\/07\/april-7-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"April 7, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Objective<\/span>: \u00a0I can locate at least one more journal article for my civil rights topic and highlight four more quotes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">BW<\/span>: \u00a0Read the author&#8217;s purpose for the body paragraph on the sample. \u00a0Locate an example(quote\/paraphrase) that fulfills the author&#8217;s purpose. \u00a0In a short paragraph, explain \u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">how<\/span> the author uses the quote to develop that purpose.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Activities<\/span>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Locate one more journal article from the DHS library(Gale Research) web base.<\/li>\n<li>Raise your hand and the teacher will check off your work. \u00a0Have your printed journal article readily available so the teacher can see both of them(one on the screen and one in your hand).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0As you research, highlight quotes that you can use to write your speech. \u00a0When you have gotten four more quotes(one was due yesterday), raise your hand and the teacher will assign a grade.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Reminder<\/span>: \u00a0Make-up and retakes for the\u00a0<em>TKAM<\/em> test(5-10) will be given after school today. \u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">HW<\/span>: \u00a0Students will need\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">two<\/span> copied journal articles from home with at least <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">7<\/span> quotes highlighted at the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">beginning<\/span> of class tomorrow. \u00a0Students are permitted a maximum of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">4 quotes per journal<\/span>. \u00a0It would be a good idea to find three or four journal articles and 10 quotes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Objective: \u00a0I can locate at least one more journal article for my civil rights topic and highlight four more quotes.
