(5 sent.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Activities<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0Share Out: \u00a0Discuss individual responses to prepare for trip to the library.<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0Mr. Pantaleo, our media specialist, will describe different genres of fiction, each located at a different table in the library. \u00a0They include: \u00a0fantasy, science fiction, realism, romance, adventure, etc.<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0After visiting all of the tables, each student will select a book from the library&#8217;s fiction section and get an approval from Mr. Sapienza.<\/p>\n<p>4. \u00a0Students will complete the &#8220;L.A. 3 Book Preview and Commitment Form.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>5. \u00a0After checking out the book with the librarian, Mr. Sapienza will sign the approval.<\/p>\n<p>HW: \u00a0If a student was unable to check out a book because of library fees or lack of an ID, then the student must resolve this issue when the library opens at 7 am and bring a fiction book from the DHS library and the commitment form for SSR on Friday(Sept. 26).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Objective: \u00a0I can utilize a book pass technique to choose a book from the library.
