Bring some items such as toy animals, cars, stuffed animal, dolls, etc. Place them in the sunlight and trace their shadows: <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Preschool kids activities: Shadow tracing\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FyyJDXq-7uU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong> 2.<\/strong> <strong>Animal walks:<\/strong> Make an obstacle course, race a family member, or just walk around the room!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Frog jump- <\/strong>Hop, hop, back and forth like a frog<\/li><li><strong>Crab walk- <\/strong>Sit and place your palms flat on the floor behind you near your hips. Lift up off the ground and crawl<\/li><li><strong>Bear crawl- <\/strong>Hands and feet on the floor, hips high- walk left and right, forwards and backwards<\/li><li><strong>Gorilla shuffle-<\/strong> Sink into a low sumo squat, with hands on the floor, shuffle around the room\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li><strong>Flamingo stance: <\/strong>Stand on one leg for as long as you can. Try both legs.<\/li><li><strong>Lions crawl: <\/strong>Just like an army crawl, lie on your tummy and use you elbows and knees to crawl forward<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. <\/strong> <strong>Cosmic Kids Yoga:<\/strong> Put on the video and follow along with the moves. This movement story focuses on The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Pass it back and forth between a partner. Try using your hands and feet. Play independently by moving through an obstacle course while hitting the balloon to yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. <strong>Laundry Basketball:<\/strong> Roll up some socks or other laundry items. Place them to the left and right of your child. Have you child positioned in a tall kneeling position. Have them side bend to retrieve the laundry. Shoot it into the basket!
