Please discuss with your child the importance of practicing and doing their best on the assessment. Our teachers will be working with students on testing taking strategies during school hours but we\u2019re asking for parents to also work with students at home (especially over Spring Break) to increase student readiness using the online practice tests listed below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>2016 Testing Schedule for Online and Paper\/Pencil Assessments ONLINE Test Administration Dates*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2022 Grades 8 : the online tests may be administered on any instructional day April 11 \u2013 April 29, 2016<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2022 Grades 6: the online tests may be administered on any instructional day April 25 \u2013 May 13, 2016<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2022 Grades 7: the online tests may be administered on any instructional day May 9 \u2013 May 27, 2016 \u2022<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>MI-Access Alternate Assessments\u2014Grades 3\u20138: the online tests may be administered on any instructional day April 11 \u2013 May 27, 2016 *<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"TITLETXT_350540\" class=\"TITLETEXT\">Online Practice for M-STEP ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"inner\"><span class=\"contentBlock\"><span class=\"shortdesc\">The preview\u00a0is intended to provide students and teachers with a\u00a0brief look at the English language arts (ELA),\u00a0mathematics, science and social studies\u00a0technology-enhanced item types.\u00a0 The M-STEP\u00a0Spring 2016 Preview must be used in\u00a0<strong><em>Google Chrome<\/em><\/strong>.
