Some students have been active in participating in completing their STEAM assignment through Google Classroom and all but five students have accepted the Google Classroom invitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am most happy about the communication taking place between the students and myself. There are students who are reaching out, asking questions about their enrichment work, and taking advantage of all of the remote learning opportunities available to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I emailed all students yesterday requiring them to send me an email checking in. This is my way of knowing who has access to technology at home and who is checking their email and Google Classroom at home. Next week, I will call the parents of students who I do not hear from by Sunday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parents, it is important that you remind your children that the online work being prepared for them by their teachers is essential to their success. In addition students should be working on their hands- on Engineering Design Process project at home. I check my email and Google classroom all day through my phone (my response time is no longer than 2 hours). When we work together as a Salina family, we can ensure the success of our students!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
