{"id":22,"date":"2019-10-18T12:26:28","date_gmt":"2019-10-18T16:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/defaulttemplate1\/?page_id=22"},"modified":"2019-10-18T12:51:26","modified_gmt":"2019-10-18T16:51:26","slug":"class-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/salehd\/class-info\/","title":{"rendered":"Classroom Syllabus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Classroom Objective<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this class, you will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math all in one!\u00a0 You will use problem-solving skills and improve critical thinking skills to help propel you toward a successful career in the STEAM fields.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Classroom Rules &amp; Expectations<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In order for everyone to enjoy this class and to succeed in it, the following rules must be followed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive to class <strong><u>on time<\/u><\/strong> and <strong><u>ready to learn<\/u><\/strong>! This means coming prepared with your homework complete, a pencil, notebook or binder with paper, and being in your seat as soon as the bell rings!<\/li>\n<li>Be respectful to all members of our classroom community (teacher, students, and visitors)! Offensive language is not acceptable!<\/li>\n<li>Listen the first time directions are given! We will be working with various materials in the class and it is important to know directions the first time.<\/li>\n<li>Keep your hands to yourself at all times and respect others\u2019 belongings.<\/li>\n<li>Use your passing time between classes to go to the bathroom <strong><u>before<\/u><\/strong> you arrive to class! <strong><u>You are allowed two bathroom passes a semester<\/u><\/strong> (that averages out to one bathroom pass each marking period).<\/li>\n<li>Be an active participant in the classroom!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Grading<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assignments must be submitted on the specified due date in order to receive full credit.\u00a0 Assignments that are turned in <strong><u>one day late will receive a 15% grade deduction<\/u><\/strong>.\u00a0 No assignments will be accepted any later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Classroom Objective In this class, you will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math all in one!\u00a0 You will use problem-solving skills and improve critical thinking skills to help propel you toward a successful career in the STEAM fields.
