\nfrom Reading Response Letters and writing.
\nI am from the gallery walks in the classroom.
\n(Engaged, inviting,
\nit sounded like learning.)
\nI am from the PSAT results
\nthe formative assessments
\nwhose data I used
\nto celebrate students\u2019 success.<\/p>\n
I’m from partners and mentors,
\nfrom Dobbs and Kubicek.
\nI’m from the you-can-do-its
\nand the believe-in-yourselves,
\nfrom Miss! and Is this summative?
\nI’m from the inspiring TED talks
\nwith Adiche and Casey Neistat
\nand connecting to their messages.<\/p>\n
I’m from ASAP and Pioneer Pride,
\nsecret handshakes and school spirit.
\nFrom the professional development new hires participated in
\nto learn the ropes,
\nthe technology I incorporated within our activities.<\/p>\n
On my daily agenda was a dank meme
\nabusing outdated\u00a0phenomena,
\na way to tenuously connect content
\nwith Internet hilarity.
\nI am from my 9th year teaching–
\ncontinuing to build relationships with my students–
\nand making a difference every day.<\/p>\n
