Why, or why not?&#8221; \u00a0Deena Beydoun, an Honors Language Arts student,\u00a0replied,\u00a0&#8220;I believe that it&#8217;s possible [for fear to dominate the universe], but it would not be a long-lasting universe. \u00a0Fear only grows in the dark, and a world cannot thrive without light.&#8221; And, as Wiesel states in his Nobel Lecture &#8220;Hope, Despair and Memory,&#8221; \u00a0that light is hope.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When asked, &#8220;Do you think it is possible for fear to dominate the universe?
