{"id":1938,"date":"2016-01-26T16:21:50","date_gmt":"2016-01-26T21:21:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/saadn\/?p=1938"},"modified":"2016-02-02T14:27:28","modified_gmt":"2016-02-02T19:27:28","slug":"mask-making-5th-grade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/saadn\/2016\/01\/26\/mask-making-5th-grade\/","title":{"rendered":"Mask Making with Papier Mache : (5th grade)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">January, 2016<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Papier Mach\u00e9 Masks:<\/p>\n<p>5th graders are learning about cultural masks. \u00a0After watching a power point presentation about cultural masks, students started to have an idea \u00a0how each culture has a specific way\u00a0and purpose\u00a0for creating masks. \u00a0This will help the students to imagine how they would like their mask to look like. \u00a0Students are asked to research and pick one mask to make one in the same style with paper mach\u00e9.
