Students will practice skill independently <strong>( Math Menu &amp; IXL)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesson 16 assessment : March 14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formative Assessment: Exit tickets every day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>English Language Arts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study:\u00a0 Informational leveled book \/ PSAT review- Apply Reading strategies<\/p>\n<p>Students will read and analyze\u00a0 informational texts\u00a0\u00a0and apply reading comprehension strategies .<\/p>\n<p>They will cite textual evidence to support claim.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PSAT Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>U.S. History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lesson focus: Westward Movement- continue<\/p>\n<p>Students will read informational texts\/ Talk- to Text\/ learn significant\u00a0 facts about Florida Acquisition &amp; Texas Annexation .<\/p>\n<p>They will orally present it.<\/p>\n<p>Students will learn new academic vocabulary related to topic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Study Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This week\u2019s focus is Angles Relationships (Prerequisites for Geometry new lesson next week).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical Science<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study: Properties of Light-continue<\/p>\n<p>They will read and analyze informational texts.
