Students will practice skill in groups solving word problems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment: 12\/6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>English Language Arts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study: Argumentative Writing<\/p>\n<p>Mini lessons: C.E.R. Writing strategy\/ Counterargument\/ Deconstructing an argumentative text about standardized tests<\/p>\n<p>Students will continue writing a well- developed and organized argumentative essay by completing an outline.<\/p>\n<p>They will cite textual evidence to support claim.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment: 12\/7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>U.S. History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lesson focus: U. S. Constitution<\/p>\n<p>Students will read informational texts\/ Talk- to Text about American government and Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>They will orally present it.<\/p>\n<p>Students will learn new academic vocabulary related to U. S. Constitution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment: 12\/5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Study Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>This week\u2019s focus will be Slope\/ Y-intercept\/ Linear\u00a0Equation<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Khan Academy ( Online practice).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical Science<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study: Motion of Earth &amp; Moon<\/p>\n<p>They will read and analyze informational texts about Rotation &amp; Revolution\/ Moon phases.
