They will cite textual evidence to support claim.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment: 10\/23 (Reading Comprehension\/ Plot Elements)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>U.S. History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study:\u00a0 The War for Independence<\/p>\n<p>Students will read and analyze informational texts about the colonists war for independence.<\/p>\n<p>They will learn significant facts about major battles .\u00a0 Student will learn new academic vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Study Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>This week\u2019s focus will be reading comprehension.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Informational book: Life in a Colonial Time<\/p>\n<p>Students will read, discuss facts (jigsaw Activity) and complete Cornell&#8217;s\u00a0 Notes \/ Vocabulary log .<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical Science<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study: Force &amp; Motion_ continue<\/p>\n<p>They will read and analyze informational texts about Work and types of Machine.
