They will cite textual evidence to support claim.<\/p>\n<p>Students will orally present CCR. It will be graded as a summative assessment<\/p>\n<p><strong>U.S. History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study:\u00a0 The thirteen Colonies<\/p>\n<p>Students will read and analyze an\u00a0 informational text about Jamestown and Plymouth.<\/p>\n<p>They will learn significant facts about the geography, economy, and culture of the thirteen Colonies.\u00a0 Student will learn new academic vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p>They will complete an organizer based on a powerpoint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Study Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We will be NWEA testing during study skills.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical Science<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study: Force &amp; Motion<\/p>\n<p>They will read and analyze informational texts about centripetal and friction forces and create foldable\/ thinking maps.<\/p>\n<p>They will learn new academic vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dear Parents,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please check your child\u2019s planner for the homework assignments every day.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pre-algebra Unit of Study: Rules of Exponents Students will learn how to solve equations using rules of exponents ( group work\/ Independent skill).
