It will be graded as a summative assessment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>U.S. History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study:&nbsp; Early Explorations of New World<\/p>\n<p>Students will read and analyze an&nbsp; informational book and learn significant facts about Age of discovery.&nbsp; Student will learn new academic vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p>They will complete Frayer model and Cornell Notes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Study Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lesson Focus: Order of Operations<\/p>\n<p>Students will learn how to solve equations using Order of Operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical Science<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unit of Study: The Scientific Method<\/p>\n<p>They will read and analyze informational texts and create foldable\/ thinking maps.<\/p>\n<p>They will learn new academic vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dear Parents,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please check your child\u2019s planner for the homework assignments every day.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pre-algebra Unit of Study: Integers\/ Absolute value Students will learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide integers.
