{"id":632,"date":"2015-02-04T10:08:33","date_gmt":"2015-02-04T15:08:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rydlicc\/?p=632"},"modified":"2015-02-04T10:16:56","modified_gmt":"2015-02-04T15:16:56","slug":"valentines-day-celebration-and-our-100th-day-party","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rydlicc\/2015\/02\/04\/valentines-day-celebration-and-our-100th-day-party\/","title":{"rendered":"Valentine\u2019s Day Celebration and our 100th Day Party  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We will be celebrating our 100<sup>th<\/sup> Day of school and our Valentine\u2019s Party on Friday, February 13, 2015.\u00a0 I have explained that the children can be creative with their 100 design.\u00a0 If your child\u2019s items are heavy you may need to use sturdier glue. (Items in the past have included but were not limited to: toothpicks, cotton balls, paper clips, stickers, cereal pieces, dots, pictures, etc.)\u00a0 We will take all of the creations and create a 100 museum for all the children to take a tour through.\u00a0 Please be sure that your child\u2019s name is on the poster board so that it may be returned.\u00a0 Please ask your child to count out the items by twos, fives, and tens, as well as ones.\u00a0 Your child should be doing the creating, gluing and counting with your assistance ONLY if necessary.\u00a0 This is a hands-on project for your child.\u00a0 You may send them in on Thursday, February 12 or Friday, February 13.<\/p>\n<p>We will also decorate mailboxes for Valentine\u2019s <strong>please send in a shoe box<\/strong> on Monday, February 9, to decorate for the party on Friday.\u00a0 We have 21 students 9 boys and 12 girls so please sign your name on the Valentine no need to address them, we will deliver the Valentine\u2019s on Friday during the celebration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This should be a fun day for the children.\u00a0 They\u2019ve been practicing counting to 100 so this will be a fun way to celebrate their efforts!\u00a0 If you have any questions please let me know.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your support,<br \/>\nMs. Rydlicki<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We will be celebrating our 100th Day of school and our Valentine\u2019s Party on Friday, February 13, 2015.\u00a0 I have explained that the children can be creative with their 100 design.\u00a0 If your child\u2019s items are heavy you may need to use sturdier glue.
