Leader In Me T-Shirts<\/strong><\/p>\n

We plan on wearing these t-shirts for our leadership day in June. \u00a0T-Shirts are 12.00. \u00a0Please let me know if you need another order form. \u00a0Orders are due February 18th.<\/p>\n

Valentine\u2019s Day Party – Next Thursday Morning (the 11th)<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are asking for a 5.00 donation (extra monies will be put toward an ice cream party on the last day of school)<\/p>\n

Valentine Cards<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students may hand out Valentine Treats\/Cards at our Valentine Party next Thursday morning. \u00a0Please only have your child write their name on the “from” line. \u00a0You do not need to address the cards. \u00a0This makes handing out cards easier. \u00a0We have 12 students in class.<\/p>\n

What We Did This Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Alpha Friends were Edna Elephant\u00a0and Queenie Queen, Letter E\u00a0and Letter\u00a0Q<\/p>\n

We worked in our new journals<\/p>\n

We worked in our poem books<\/p>\n

We rotated through Daily 5<\/p>\n

In Math we counted by 5\u2019s\u00a0and writing the numbers 1-20 on our whiteboards.<\/p>\n

In Handwriting we worked with the letter\u00a0T and I (Straight Line Letters)<\/p>\n

We continue to work on our last name<\/p>\n

We attended a PBIS reward\u00a0assembly – where we made “Valentines for Vets” and enjoyed hot cocoa<\/p>\n

We rotated through our Leader in Me mixed aged groups and talked about Habit 2 (Beginning with the End in Mind)<\/p>\n

We attended our monthly behavior and award assembly<\/p>\n

We visited the Bookfair<\/p>\n

We started our “Monster” crafts<\/p>\n
