We had a great 2nd day of school!<\/p>\n
Assembly<\/strong><\/p>\n The students attended a PBIS (Positive Behavior) assembly this morning where they met the school staff, learned about school rules, procedures and rewards, and had an introduction to the 7 Habits (a lot, I know!).<\/p>\n Lindbergh has given each student a “zipper pull” as a gift this school year – to remind students that they are a “Lindbergh Flyer.” \u00a0I helped each student put their zipper pull on their backpack.<\/p>\n Control Tower \/Behavior Charts<\/strong><\/p>\n The students have been learning classroom and building rules and consequences. \u00a0See if your student can explain to you our “control tower.” \u00a0This is our classroom system to track behavior. \u00a0If a student remains on green they are having a great day! \u00a0If a student chooses to break a rule they move their clip to yellow, then orange and finally red. \u00a0If a student lands on red they will be sent to the office to speak with Mrs. DeNeen (our principal).<\/p>\n Students will track their day with an individual behavior chart that you can find on the back of their red folder – daily.<\/p>\n See you tomorrow!<\/p>\n Mrs. Ruselink<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We had a great 2nd day of school!
