{"id":633,"date":"2015-09-09T13:31:11","date_gmt":"2015-09-09T17:31:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/ruselink\/?p=633"},"modified":"2015-09-09T13:31:11","modified_gmt":"2015-09-09T17:31:11","slug":"9-9-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/ruselink\/2015\/09\/09\/9-9-15\/","title":{"rendered":"9-9-15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had a great 2nd day of school!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assembly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The students attended a PBIS (Positive Behavior) assembly this morning where they met the school staff, learned about school rules, procedures and rewards, and had an introduction to the 7 Habits (a lot, I know!).<\/p>\n<p>Lindbergh has given each student a &#8220;zipper pull&#8221; as a gift this school year &#8211; to remind students that they are a &#8220;Lindbergh Flyer.&#8221; \u00a0I helped each student put their zipper pull on their backpack.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Control Tower \/Behavior Charts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The students have been learning classroom and building rules and consequences. \u00a0See if your student can explain to you our &#8220;control tower.&#8221; \u00a0This is our classroom system to track behavior. \u00a0If a student remains on green they are having a great day! \u00a0If a student chooses to break a rule they move their clip to yellow, then orange and finally red. \u00a0If a student lands on red they will be sent to the office to speak with Mrs. DeNeen (our principal).<\/p>\n<p>Students will track their day with an individual behavior chart that you can find on the back of their red folder &#8211; daily.<\/p>\n<p>See you tomorrow!<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Ruselink<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We had a great 2nd day of school!
