News and Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

Little Caesars Pizza kit orders are due January 30th.<\/p>\n

What We Did This Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our AlphaFriend was “Dudley Duck”, letter Dd<\/p>\n

Our new “High-frequency” words were “I” and “like”<\/p>\n

We are working on the “Magic C” family in handwriting (letters that can be made from making a “C” first) C, O,Q<\/p>\n

In our journals we continue to “stretch” and record our alphabet sounds to write good stories.<\/p>\n

The students will be bringing home “reading bags” soon. \u00a0These will include beginning readers (if they are ready for those) or alphabet work in addition to their “ring of words” to practice at home. \u00a0Reading bags should be returned to school every day.<\/p>\n

In math we continue to study the “tricky teens” and counting by 5’s and 10’s<\/p>\n

Usernames and passwords for Study Island and Everyday Math Games were sent home for “home enrichment.” \u00a0Please let me know if there are any log in problems.<\/p>\n
