Spring Pictures<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spring Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, February 25th<\/sup> (after winter vacation).\u00a0 Order forms can be found in your student\u2019s folder.\u00a0 No money is due at this time.\u00a0 You will be able to view proofs and decide if you would like to order at a different date.<\/p>\n

100 Days of School<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will celebrate 100 Days of School on Thursday, February 27th<\/sup>.\u00a0 There is a \u201c100\u2019s Day\u201d assignment in your student\u2019s folder.\u00a0 These collections can be displayed\/glued on poster board or simply be brought in a Ziploc baggie.<\/p>\n

Science Night<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark your calendars for the night of March 12th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Science night will have some family friendly experiments and all of the student\u2019s display boards from their grade level Science Experiment will be displayed.<\/p>\n

In the Young Fives class we will be \u201cGrowing Gummy Worms!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 I will model the experiment in class the week after Winter Vacation and then all the materials for you to try at home will be sent home on Friday!<\/p>\n

What We Did This Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Our AlphaFriend was Ollie Octopus, Letter Oo<\/li>\n
  2. Our new sight word was, \u201cwe\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. Our New Poem was, \u201cMy Friend\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. We practiced stamping our sight words in \u201cWord Work\u201d during Daily 5<\/li>\n
  5. We did a number of Valentine activities and crafts<\/li>\n
  6. We worked with our number grids in Math<\/li>\n
  7. We wrapped up our work with \u201cSink and Float\u201d in Science and after vacation we will begin to study \u201cPush and Pull\u201d<\/li>\n
  8. We had 2 days of OUTDOOR RECCESS!!!!!!!! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
