{"id":1596,"date":"2018-08-27T16:21:47","date_gmt":"2018-08-27T20:21:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/ruselink\/?p=1596"},"modified":"2018-08-27T16:21:47","modified_gmt":"2018-08-27T20:21:47","slug":"first-day-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/ruselink\/2018\/08\/27\/first-day-report\/","title":{"rendered":"First Day Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It went great!<\/p>\n<p><strong>We learned:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to sit at the carpet and chairs<\/li>\n<li>We introduced our new rules and procedures<\/li>\n<li>We read a story about coming to Kindergarten<\/li>\n<li>We drew a picture<\/li>\n<li>We toured the school<\/li>\n<li>We meet our gym teacher (the other special teachers will be here on other days)<\/li>\n<li>We enjoyed a back to school snack<\/li>\n<li>We sang songs<\/li>\n<li>We interacted with Table Top toys<\/li>\n<li>We visited the playground<\/li>\n<li>We sorted school supplies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reminders for Tomorrow:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will practice lunch so please pack a lunch or talk to your student about what is on the school menu<\/li>\n<li>No snack needed (lunch is early)<\/li>\n<li>Dismissal is at 11:45<\/li>\n<li>Afternoon assessments start tomorrow<\/li>\n<li>Students are welcome to bring a water bottle (please be sure it is labeled)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>**If you ordered school supplies from School Supplies Plus I have them and stored them!<\/p>\n<p>**If you didn&#8217;t sign up for an assessment time I will try my best to complete that in class.\u00a0 Assessment will be communicated to parents with a send home report.<\/p>\n<p>We have 27 friends in our class.\u00a0 I will appreciate your help with sending your student to school ready to learn this year.\u00a0 Please don&#8217;t hesitate to email me any questions.\u00a0 I appreciate your patience as we work through the first weeks of school.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It went great!
