Library Books<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please help your student remember to return their library book back to school on Monday.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, November 7th (Election Day)<\/p>\n

Friday, November 17th (No school for Kgn. and Y5)<\/p>\n

Wednesday, November 22nd through November 26th (Thanksgiving)<\/p>\n

Parent Teacher Conferences<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please return the RSVP slip as soon as possible to confirm the scheduled parent\/ teacher conference time works for you.<\/p>\n

What We Did This Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

We introduced our Alpha Friend, FiFi Fish, letter F<\/p>\n

We colored the letter F, colored letter F pictures, and worked with letter F in our poem books.<\/p>\n

We wrote in our journals.  We are learning to draw our stories with details and basic shapes.<\/p>\n

We are reading stories with rhyming words<\/p>\n

We worked in our Handwriting book using our “three finger squeeze”<\/p>\n

We are counting to 100 using songs and our math grid<\/p>\n

We are also building numbers on the ten frame<\/p>\n

We created shapes on the geoboards<\/p>\n

We visted our special classes, Gym, Art, Music and Media<\/p>\n

We enjoyed playing on the playground<\/p>\n

We enjoyed Free Choice Time<\/p>\n

We continue to learn to rotate through Daily 5 (literacy) centers<\/p>\n

Students who were on green 4 days this week attended the cookie party<\/p>\n

In Science we used our Five Senses to observe popcorn popping and we practiced using our sense of sight with mixing primary colors<\/p>\n
