{"id":1122,"date":"2017-03-10T11:45:33","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T16:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/ruselink\/?p=1122"},"modified":"2017-03-10T11:45:33","modified_gmt":"2017-03-10T16:45:33","slug":"leader-in-me-t-shirt-orders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/ruselink\/2017\/03\/10\/leader-in-me-t-shirt-orders\/","title":{"rendered":"Leader in Me T-shirt Orders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>March 13, 2017<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dear Families of Lindbergh Elementary,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As you know, Lindbergh has adopted FranklinCovey\u2019s <em>The Leader in Me<\/em> initiative. \u00a0This empowering program allows students to become leaders and teaches 21<sup>st<\/sup> century life skills to help them grow into productive, responsible, and effective young people of the community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the many activities and lessons we participate in at school, each school who takes part in <em>The Leader in Me<\/em> is asked to host a Leadership Day. \u00a0Although parents are not invited to attend the Leadership Day we will be presenting highlights from Leadership Day at the June 6th PTA meeting and encourage all parents to attend this PTA meeting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeadership Day events are held by those elementary schools going through The Leader in Me process. \u00a0These schools open their doors to the community for one day or one-half day and let others see the amazing transformation that takes place within their building for staff and students alike. \u00a0Students showcase their leadership skills, staff share their successes, and the leadership philosophy driving the culture of the school is tangibly seen and felt.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0(https:\/\/www.theleaderinme.org\/events\/leadership-days)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lindbergh\u2019s Leadership Day will be held June 2, 2017 and we are asking all students to purchase an incredible t-shirt for the event. \u00a0To order your child\u2019s t-shirt please go to the provided link and follow the instructions. \u00a0Your t-shirt will ship directly to your home and your child will have it for our leadership events.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The link for ordering is: https:\/\/www.customink.com\/g\/wmy0-00ax-nj4z<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The deadline for ordering your child\u2019s t-shirt is MARCH 22, 2017<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Please do not delay ordering your child\u2019s t-shirt, we would like all students to participate.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As always, thank you for everything you do to support your child\u2019s success at Lindbergh.
